BERLIN started work on a new creation that will premiere in May 2020 at deSingel (where it is creative associate). The making of Berlin is the finale to BERLIN’s city portraits or ‘Holocene Cycle’ and will focus on…. Berlin.

During the first two weeks of September, we pitch our red tent – the one we used for the Moscow – performances at the time – in front of deSingel. On September 7th and 14th, you’re invited at our ‘open studio’-evenings.

On the 7th, BERLIN’s “in-house composer” Peter Van Laerhoven guides you through the musical universe of BERLIN, together with Bart Baele, Yves Degryse and guest musicians. On the 14th, the focus lies on the inspirational sources that will form the basis for the new production.
